Spot trade returns for Nigerian crude just as IOC takes Agbami, others

Some spot activity returned to the market on Thursday mopping up a few more January loading cargoes, Reuters reports.

About 30 cargoes were left from the January programme. Phillips 66 bought a cargo of Forcados from Sahara loading Jan. 15-16 but this could not immediately be confirmed. Forcados was previously being shown at about dated Brent plus $1.40-$1.50 a barrel.

In its latest tender for early February loading, Indian refiner Indian Oil Corp. took Nigerian cargos of Agbami from Chevron, Amenam from Total and Escravos from Trafigura, traders said. Indonesia’s Pertamina reissued a buy tender for February and March cargoes that closes on Friday.
